We just got back from an amazing journey in Puerto Rico where we completed part two of a four part music video shoot for our song “And We Walk.” This songs celebrates those who walk, run, stand, sit and pray to interrupt the destruction of our earth and all lives effected — from those who sat in the bombing ranges in Vieques, Puerto Rico, to those who walk to stop uranium mining and the destruction of Native sacred sites, to those stand on the tracks of oil trains. The first part of the video was filmed in the vibrant nature of New Mexico. This recent shoot was filmed in Isabela, Puerto Rico, a place of my family’s origin. We spent a week there filming, and connecting with the land and my Ancestors. I cannot wait to bring this video to life. In the meantime, you can listen to “And We Walk” on Soundcloud, and check out pics from our adventure below!
