Reclaim the Thunder: Songs for Social Change Workshop
The Sanctuary for Independent Media
Come learn more about the power of songs to manifest change in our world! Taína Asili will offer an interactive workshop to share what she has gathered from her 20 year history writing songs for social change. We will learn about various social justice songwriters through time and movements. We will also learn basic lyric writing techniques to open our creative minds. Later, Taína Asili’s band will be set up as the “house band” for us to experiment musically with our creations.
No experience necessary, just an open heart.
