Social Justice Center Potluck and Panel

This year, the Albany Social Justice Center is doing things differently to respond to these troubling times. The Winter Potluck has been expanded into a panel & community discussion around Survival, Community and Resistance in a time of trouble. The intergenerational panel will feature Taina Asili, Xavier Cruz, Carmen Rau, Barbara Smith,Anzala Alozie and Jaya Sundaresh.

Our community is responding to the dangers of a Trump presidency using the experience and resources developed through years of community-building, organization-building, and action against white and male supremacy, homo- and transphobia, gender-based violence, economic injustice, mass incarceration, police violence, war, and other forms of injustice and oppression.
