New album Resiliencia!

I am so excited to announce that after many years of hard work my new album Resiliencia was officially released on April 19th, 2019 and is now available and streaming everywhere including Bandcamp, Spotify and iTunes! Resiliencia is a collection of compositions inspired by stories of resilience I witnessed in interviews I conducted with women of color in various parts of the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada over the course of several years. These stories, as well as my own, are born at the intersection of survival and reclamation of love and liberation. In addition to the album, we also have a documentary series that delves deeper into the powerful stories behind the songs.

We have already received some great press about the album including featuring on NPR’s Alt.Latino, Music Friday Live, Beat Latino, Women’s International Music Network, The Collaborative, WEXT, Exclaim!, and The Key!

We had two beautiful album release celebrations in my home areas of Troy, NY and Philadelphia, PA, and we have another album release celebration coming up in Boston, MA on June 9th at The Milky Way Lounge!

I also have a number of exciting performances coming up this spring and summer including performances at incredible venues like Carnegie Hall and The Egg Performing Arts Center, and festivals like PVDFest, Red Hook Fest, South Bronx Culture Trail and Baltimore Pride Festival.
