The Rhythm of Rebellion is back!

I am so excited to announce that after a 5 year hiatus, Season 2 of The Rhythm of Rebellion is finally coming this month starting on February 23, 2023! The Rhythm of Rebellion is a podcast I originally launched in 2017 to interview leading social change performing artists across genres, exploring the strategies they are using in their art to bring justice and healing to their communities and our world. Since then, I have been dreaming about how to bring this beloved podcast back in a way that is sustainable for the longterm, and I am happy to say that I am now collaborating with Hudson Mohawk Magazine to make this possible. In addition to the long form episodes soon to be available on all podcasting platforms, there will also be short form 10-minute episodes broadcasted on Hudson Mohawk Magazine’s WOOC Troy show. This season I am featuring interviews with 8 incredible artists: Martha Redbone, Ximena Violante (founder of Interminable), Jeneda Benally (of Sihasin), Mireya Ramos (solo artist and founder of Flor de Toloache), L.I.T.A., Sonny Singh (solo artist and trumpet for Red Baraat), Xenia Rubinos, and María José Montijo.

Episodes will be released on Thursdays, starting this coming Thursday Feb. 23 with the ever brilliant MARTHA REDBONE!
