Skidmore’s Get To Freedom: Organize Conference

Taina Asili y la Banda Rebelde will be offering a performance and workshop at Skidmore’s Get To Freedom: Organize Conference on March 7th (the conference is March 6-8). Skidmore College is excited to host for the very first time a conference by people of color for people of color. The GTFO conference is aimed to create a space for community and transparency within communities of color, promoting a space for communal understanding, learning and solidarity. Sessions will range from discussions on neoliberalism and activism to social justice yoga and self- preservation through the arts. This conference is open to nearby schools and is free for registered attendees.
