Asili’s performances have supported organizations and initiatives, from UPROSE in Brooklyn, NY to The North Carolina Climate Justice Collective, to The California Environmental Justice Alliance (CEJA). In 2014 she released “And We Walk,” a music video which premiered in YES! Magazine, inspired by movements that interrupt violence against our Earth. Her creative work has overlapped with her work with Soul Fire Farm in various ways throughout the years, from performing at events to creating her award-winning music video documentary, Plant the Seed. Additionally, Taína Asili created an award-winning documentary, Resiliencia, which documented the effects of colonialism and climate change in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria for the lives of four women artists and activists.

Community Engagement

Following the captivating performance of Fever Pitch, venues have the option to incorporate an enlightening and interactive post-show conversation, offering attendees the opportunity to deepen their engagement with the themes of climate justice. We are committed to facilitating this dialogue by assisting in the selection and invitation of esteemed panelists, including climate justice organizers, thought leaders, and activists, who will lead the discussion. This dynamic dialogue invites audience members to explore pressing climate issues and discuss strategies for meaningful change. Action steps shared during the conversation will be documented and made available on our website, empowering participants to continue their engagement beyond the event. While optional, this thought-provoking conversation serves as a natural extension of the immersive experience, providing a space for reflection, connection, and collective action.
