Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment

On June 14, Taína Asili will join Singing Resistance and fellow movement song leaders at The Town Hall in New York City for Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment, a powerful evening of music, solidarity, and action. Featuring appearances by legendary artists and activists including Rufus Wainwright, Bette Midler, Patti Smith, Joy Reid, and Jane Fonda, the event supports the Committee for the First Amendment and its work defending free expression. At a moment when fundamental freedoms are under threat, this inspiring event celebrates the power of music to bring people together and move us toward action. Doors open at 6:30 PM, concert begins at 7:30 PM.
