Art Rising!

Join Art Rising! for a FREE afternoon of dance, theater, music, art, and healing as resistance! This powerful gathering organized by Maine artists coming together to provide a safe space to unite in community and create. For those seeking a moment of reflection, reiki and tarot readings will be available.

This event is part of One Billion Rising’s 2025 campaign Rise For Freedom, Rise Against Fascism, a global movement of artistic Risings happening from February through April, dedicated to ending violence against women and girls (cisgender and transgender), gender-expansive people, and the planet. Taína Asili is One Billion Rising’s U.S. Coordinator and will be joining this Portland Rising for a closing performance!
