Be the Media Workshop: The Rhythm of Rebellion

Taína Asili shares the story of her two-decade journey as a singer and activist creating music for social change. Through songs and personal narrative, she reflects on the challenges she has faced and the lessons she’s learned making art in service of love and liberation. Participants will explore how art can be a powerful tool for resistance, healing, and liberation, and reflect on their own creative paths through guided discussion and engagement. This workshop will inform the viewer’s experience in attending Taína’s Fever Pitch performance the next day.
