Organized by NC Climate Justice Collective, the Get Loud! Roadshow is an invitation into the radical imagination, where we explore new and creative ways of living harmoniously with each other and our Earth. This is a dynamic cultural arts event that combines performance and non-partisan voter education to address the intersectional issues related to the urgency of climate change and democracy.
Taína Asili’s multimedia Fever Pitch performance is the heart of this experience–blending multilingual and emotive songs, poetry, and a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of visuals. Asili is an award-winning interdisciplinary artist, dynamic singer, composer and educator carrying on the tradition of her Puerto Rican ancestors. Following the performance, there will be an interactive Talk Back and other community engagement activities to Get Out the Vote! All roadshow events are FREE!
