International Working Women’s Day

Taína Asili will be joining a day of Commemoration, Cultural Presentations, and Reflections co-hosted by Rosemari Mealy and Esperanza Martell. This will be a virtual day of historical Commemoration celebrating activist women who organized in March 1983 and subsequent years after, some of New York’s most inclusive International Working Women’s Day events led by a coalition of Black, Latin American, Asian American and Indigenous women and their allies.
