One Billion Rising US Gathering
In addition to making music and art, Taína has the honor of being a part of the One Billion Rising movement in her role as the U.S. Coordinator. Join Taína Asili, V (formerly Eve Ensler) and V-Day Executive Director Susan Celia Swan, for a special U.S. gather to discuss the 2026 campaign: Rise for Our Bodies, Our Earth, Our Future on Wednesday, January 14th at 8PM ET
As gender-based violence, anti-immigrant policies, attacks on trans communities, and the devastating effects of climate change escalate across the U.S., this campaign calls on us to rise with collective, art-driven resistance. During the gathering, They will share the campaign vision and unveil artistic tools—including music, dance, theater, video, and visual art to help you organize your own Rising in your community for V-Day (Feb. 14), International Women’s Day (March 8), or Earth Day (April 22).
