Taína Asili will be presenting her interactive talk/performance The Rhythm of Rebellion at a special Women’s History Month event hosted by PITT ARTS in the Frick Fine Arts Building Auditorium (FFA 125) from 7 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. Taína Asili tells the story of her two decades long career as a singer and songwriter for social change. She will discuss the ways she has overcome the obstacles she has experienced as a queer woman of color committed to making art for love and liberation, and the wisdom and tools she has gathered along the way. She will also be sharing some songs!
