Through the Portal: Growing the World We Want

Through the Portal: Growing the World We Want is an exciting conference in Chicago from September 20 to 22, 2024 where Taína Asili and Jamila Woods will be featured performers for a special evening performance. This conference will bring together over 80 other scholars, organizers, and artists who will gather together to share research and organizing experiences around three core themes: abolition, economic justice, and ecology.

Taína Asili will be featuring live performances of songs she wrote as part of her ’21-’22 Artist Residency with the Social Justice Portal Project.
