Music and Writing for Social Change, featuring Taína Asili
Monday, March 13, 12:00-1:00 pm, Newman Auditorium

Taína Asili, will offer inspiration from her 20-year career writing songs that seek to reclaim power/challenge injustices. She will discuss how her work is part of a legacy of social change songwriters, and share how she weavers her work into social justice activism. In 2015, the Hispanic Coalition of NY recognized her as one of their “40 under 40 Rising Stars.” CD signing to follow.
