Film Festival Awards!

I am so excited to announce that I recently won my first two awards for film! My documentary on women and resilience in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, Resiliencia, has won “Best Documentary” at the International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival! And Plant the Seed, my documentary short about Leah Penniman of Soul Fire Farm, won “Best Documentary Short” at the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival in Atlanta and was also chosen as “Audience Best Documentary Short.”  This is a huge honor!
